Update: The child has been found and is now receiving medical care.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office says a 7-month-old baby may be in danger after her parents refused to provide medical treatment for a life-threatening condition.

In a Friday afternoon press release, the sheriff’s office said Arielle Brown is in “dire need” of immediate medical treatment.

A court ordered the baby’s parents to make her available to Child Protective Services for medical treatment, but the family cannot be located, the release said.

Investigators say the baby is traveling with her mother, Shanta Williams, and her father, Berry Brown III.

Deputies believe the family is traveling in a black Ford Fusion with a IY36QJ Florida license plate.

The family may be traveling between Manatee, Sarasota and Orange counties, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information on the family’s location is asked to contact the sheriff’s office by calling (941) 747-3011.
