Gov. DeSantis is visiting Bradenton today for press conference with Florida jobs chief

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will hold a press conference in Bradenton on Tuesday afternoon, the governor’s office said in a news release Tuesday morning.

DeSantis will appear at Anna Maria Oyster Bar’s Landside restaurant at 6906 14th Street West. It is not open to the public.

He will be joined by Department of Employment Opportunity Secretary Dane Eagle.

The subject of the press conference was not announced.

In a news release on Friday, DeSantis and Eagle touted Florida’s current unemployment rate of 2.7%, which is one point below the national average.
