New Publix opens in the Bradenton area with dine-in seating on the second floor
White Eagle Publix opened Thursday at 13150 State Road 64 East, serving fast-growing East Manatee and Lakewood Ranch.
The 48,387-square-foot store is Publix’s 19th supermarket in Manatee County.
White Eagle Publix is on the northern fringe of Lakewood Ranch and just south of Mill Creek and Greyhawk Landing.
The store offers grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce departments as well as a full-service bakery, deli and pharmacy. The store will have an adjacent Publix Liquors.
It also has indoor and outdoor seating on the second floor for those who want a quick bite of the prepared food options.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to serve more customers in Bradenton and look forward to welcoming them to our new store,” Hannah Herring, Publix media relations manager, said in a press release.
“Customers will enjoy the inviting environment, expanded product mix and premier service they know and love at Publix,” she said.
The store is open seven days a week — 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pharmacy hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Publix, the largest employee-owned company in the U.S. with more than 230,000 associates, currently operates 1,303 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
