Get your driver’s license reinstated for less money on Saturday in Manatee County
Manatee County Clerks’ Office is offering reduced driver’s license reinstatement fees at Operation Green Light events this month, the clerk’s office said in a news release.
Operation Green Light will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 11, at the Manatee County Historic Courthouse, 1115 Manatee Ave.
Saturday’s Green Light event is only for customers who haven’t already had their fees reduced by the clerks office this year.
The release said that the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)‘s FLOW bus would be onsite offering license reinstatement assistance.
Residents with suspended driver’s licenses can pay overdue court obligations, including traffic tickets, while saving up to 30% on collection agency fees.
In Florida, unpaid traffic fines and fees are turned over to a Collection agency after 90-days; agencies can then add late fees and other fees up to 40% on top of the original amount owed.
Once the debt is paid, the person would have to pay at least $60 more to reinstate a license.
