Florida residents can get a deal at Mote Marine in September

If you’ve never visited Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and experienced what it offers to the public, or if you haven’t been for a while, September is your opportunity.

Mote Public Relations Manager Stephannie Kettle announced Friday that the aquarium will offer half-priced admissions for Florida residents every weekend in the month of September.

All Florida residents will receive the special pricing and tickets must be reserved in advance by visiting mote.org/visit and use the code HALF at checkout.

After purchasing tickets and reserving your visit, residents will need to show Florida ID upon arrival.

COVID-19 safety procedures remain in place and the facility is operating at a controlled capacity with timed-entry appointments. When making a reservation, it is necessary to reserve both the date and time of your visit.

The special pricing is only available for Saturday or Sunday visits.

Anyone over the age of 5 is required to wear a mask. Visit mote.org/reopening to learn more about the facility’s safety precautions implemented when the aquarium reopened to the public in June.
