Bradenton area juvenile is missing, cops say

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of a missing juvenile who is considered to be endangered due to medical conditions.

Deputies say Demitri Hunter Nichols, 15, was discharged from the Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, 4480 51st St. W., about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday and ran away from a family member shortly after.

Nichols was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, black sweatpants and a red bandanna on his head. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 931-747-3011.
