Christmas in July: Historic Crosley Estate offering major discounts on holiday bookings

The holidays may seem like a far-off, distant dreamland in the time of COVID-19, but here’s a bit of Christmas in July.

This month, the historic Crosley Powel Estate in Manatee County is offering an extreme discount on party reservations for December 2020.

The Mediterranean Revival-style mansion is the former winter home of Powel Crosley Jr., the innovator who brought radio technology to the masses.

It is now owned by Manatee County and operated by the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, and it serves as a frequent backdrop for meetings, weddings and parties.

“This exclusive holiday pricing allows hosts to secure their spot for an unforgettable celebration at this historic landmark with one of the estate’s incredible in-house caterers long before the start of the busy holiday season,” Aqua Marketing said on behalf of the venue in a press release. “The estate’s elegant architecture, spacious design and rich history make it the ideal venue for holiday gatherings of all sizes.”

Bookings for events held on any Monday through Thursday in December 2020 will be offered at a 40 percent discount throughout the month of July.
