Wake up without water in this neighborhood? Water line break is to blame

The Manatee County Utilities Department is reporting that an 8-inch water line broke on 26th Street West between 33rd Avenue Avenue West to 39th Avenue West.

The cause of the break is not yet known, but Utilities Service Coordinator Robert Crowton said crews are on site working to repair the line.

A time frame to complete the repairs was not provided.

Manatee County will issue a boil-water notice if needed, but no such notice has been given at this time.
