Residents in 2 Bradenton mobile home parks to lose water on Tuesday night

Two Bradenton mobile home parks will have their water shut temporarily off Tuesday night as work is done on a water main tie-in, the Manatee County Utilities Department announced.

Water is scheduled to be off between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Wednesday to the Palm Village mobile home park, 3528 14th St. W., and Mermaid Manor mobile home park, 3720 14th St. W.

Once water is restored, residents in those communities will need to boil their water as a precaution.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until water tests confirm the quality, which normally takes between 24 to 48 hours. A notice will be issued when the water is once again deemed safe.

Resident with question can call 941-792-8811 ext. 5268 or 5216 between 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
