If it’s fur baby love you seek this Valentine’s Day in Bradenton, here’s your chance

Manatee County Animal Services is offering more than $400 in value with a special “Adopt Your Valentine” event beginning Feb. 14.

Adoptions of both cats and dogs will be reduced to $14 and include spay or neuter, microchip and a rabies certificate at the shelter located at 305 25th St. W. in Palmetto and Manatee County Cat Town at 216 Sixth Ave. E. in Bradenton.

The adoption event will last until Feb. 29. The shelter is closed on Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents Day.

Manatee County residents are also reminded that there is a requirement to license new pets for an additional $20.

Visit mymanatee.org/pets to see all the fur babies currently up for adoption and needing a forever home.
