Sarasota deputies seek help locating missing man with memory loss

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing and endangered person alert for Paul Billie.

Billie, 25, was last seen leaving a treatment facility in the 7000 block of Baxley Lane in Sarasota around 3:45 p.m. Monday.

Billie got into a 2002 Silver Inifinti I35 with Florida license plate NEAA50, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle was driven by an unknown male who knows Billie, deputies say.

“It is believed he may be traveling to the Okeechobee County area where he has relatives and friends,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

Billie has a brain injury and suffers from memory loss, according to the sheriff’s office.

He has a beard and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored jeans, boots and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 941-861-4900 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 941-366-8477 or going online at www.sarasotacrimestoppers.com.
