Sarasota police investigate drowning at boat ramp
The Sarasota Police Department is currently investigating a drowning at a boat ramp on Wednesday evening.
Police say the drowning occurred at the Centennial Park and Boat Ramp off 10th Street and North Tamiami Trail.
There is no danger to the public, police said. Detectives are at the scene.
People are asked to avoid the area as detectives investigate.
