The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 16-year-old who was reported missing from her home in the 900 block of 63rd Ave. E., Bradenton, on Monday.

Mya Rood is believed to be a runaway. Deputies said she was staying with a friend but is no longer doing so.

Anyone with information pertaining to Mya’s whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (941) 747-3011.
