Hundreds of turkeys and thousands of toys to be given away at Palmetto Boys & Girls Club
The Palmetto Boys & Girls Club will host a giveaway of hundreds of turkeys and thousands of toys Sunday afternoon.
D. Bernard Woodie is sponsoring the event, and said he welcomes anyone to attend.
“I don’t care if you’re rich or poor,” he said. “We just want the community to come out and enjoy.”
Approximately 500 turkeys and 2,000 toys will be handed out, according to Woodie. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. at 1600 10th St. W., Palmetto.
