Overnight blaze at Tampa strip mall injures two firefighters
Tampa firefighters responded to a fire at a strip mall located at 2202 W. Waters Ave. early Saturday morning.
Two firefighters received minor injuries in the fire. No other injuries were reported.
Fire crews found smoke coming from the roof area of the eastern end of the single-story commercial building. Officials said the fire appeared to originate from a nail salon business.
The call came in around 2:45 a.m., and fire crews were able to get the fire under control around 6:15 a.m.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
