Cortez Road reopened after crash
All eastbound lanes of Cortez Road were blocked for more than an hour Tuesday afternoon after a crash.
The crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday at Cortez Road and 26th Street West with crews on scene moments later, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The live traffic map from FHP indicates injuries were reported in the crash.
At one point, traffic was backed up eastbound to 43rd Street West, according to Florida 511 traffic maps.
The roadway was cleared before 3 p.m, according to FHP maps.

Further west on Cortez Road, at 66th Street West, a sewer main break had wastewater spilling into the street Tuesday morning.
