Crash on I-75 south clogging traffic

Here’s what you might see on your Friday morning commute.

Traffic has started backing up on Interstate 75 south after a crash, as well as along the Green and DeSoto bridges and the U.S. 301 and State Road 70 intersection in Manatee County.

Interstate 75

• Crash in southbound lanes near mile marker 215, Bradenton, roadblock in left lane, traffic is backed up to State Road 64 in Manatee County;
• Crash in northbound lanes at mile marker 201, Sarasota, roadway clear.

Interstate 275

• No major incidents to report, traffic flowing.

Sunshine Skyway

• No major incidents to report, traffic flowing.

Manatee Avenue/State Road 64

• No major incidents to report, but traffic has slowed at the Interstate 75 interchange.

Cortez Road

• No major incidents to report, traffic flowing.

State Road 70

• Crash, at 14th Street West, Bradenton, no roadblock reported;
• Traffic is slow at the intersection with U.S. 301.
