Southbound Sunshine Skyway crash causes delays

A Tuesday morning crash that appears to involve a motorcycle caused southbound I-275 delays at the end of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

The Florida Department of Transportation reported that the left lane was blocked near mile marker 9. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8 a.m. and there were injuries.

By 8:51 a.m., the roadway had been cleared, FDOT said.
