Motorcyclist veers off road, crashes into barbed wire fence
The 28-year-old driver of a motorcycle was suffered serious injuries Tuesday night after he veered off of the paved road and struck a barbed wire fence.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Toledo Blade Boulevard in Sarasota around 7:20 p.m. when his Kawasaki ZX636 flipped and crashed into a fence after driving onto an unpaved surface.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
