All lanes open on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County
All lanes of northbound Interstate 75 are reopen in Sarasota County after a crash shut them down Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
By 11:30 a.m., all lanes were open to traffic, according to FHP.
A dump truck overturned and spilled its contents into the road, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash, which was reported at 8:56 a.m., happened near mile marker 206, between State Road 72 (Clark Road) and Bee Ridge Road.

There were no reports of injuries. A photograph posted on Florida 511 showed a large vehicle on its side and debris strewn across the roadway.
All lanes were blocked for about an hour, but FHP said motorists were allowed to use the shoulder of the highway until the left lane was opened later that morning.
