Major street in Lakewood Ranch reopened after crash
Lakewood Ranch Boulevard is now reopened to traffic after it was completely shut down for hours Tuesday morning.
The roadway was cleared as of 11:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday. No other information was immediately released.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported a crash with injuries at Lakewood Ranch Boulevard at Lost Creek Terrace left Lakewood Ranch Boulevard completely blocked for about two hours Tuesday morning.

A second crash on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard at Lakewood Main Street was determined to be fatal. It was reported shortly before 10 a.m.
FHP reports the roadway is cleared at the fatal crash scene as well as of 11:35 a.m.
