Bradenton Lions Club receives donation of Christmas toys
It may be the first weekend in November, but it wasn’t too early for some locals to start preparing for Christmas.
Members of the Bradenton Lions Club spent their Saturday receiving donated toys from T.L.C. Toys in preparation for the Christmas season.
The more than 900 toys will be distributed by Lions Club members to needy children in the area during the holiday.
Mel Hartman started T.L.C. along with volunteers by making toys for the needy over two decades ago.
