Deputies locate missing 14-year-old girl
A 14-year-old girl reported missing on Monday has been located and returned home safely Thursday morning.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Gracie White was last seen by her mother at her bus stop Monday morning but didn’t return home that evening. Gracie didn’t attend class at Palmetto High School on Monday or Tuesday, police say.
Police believed her to be a runaway and did not suspect suspicious activity.
