Police offering free Halloween costumes for toddlers
Did Halloween sneak up on you and your kid? Or maybe you’re dealing with an exceptionally picky whippersnapper?
If so, you’re in luck. The Bradenton Police Department is giving away more than 500 Halloween costumes for toddlers. Support Our Troops Inc. in Wesley Chapel donated the costumes, with sizes ranging from 12-months up to 4T.
Those interested can pick up costumes from the Bradenton Police Department at 100 10th St. W., until midnight Monday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Availability is first come, first serve and there’s a limit of two costumes per family. However, larger families are allowed one costume per child if parents bring them along to the station.
Bradenton police urge partakers to stay safe during their Halloween festivities on Tuesday by adding reflective or glow in the dark tape to the costumes.
Those seeking further information may contact the Bradenton Police Department front desk at (941) 932-9301.
