This map shows where Irma debris has been cleared, and where crews are headed next
The Manatee County Utilities Department debris collection map detailing Hurricane Irma cleanup is up and running.
Residents can view the map here.
The map is blocked off in four colors. Blue means the area has been cleared; green means crews are currently working the area; yellow means the area will be cleared next; and clear means the assignment for pickup has yet to be made.
Schools are marked by red schoolhouse icons, and the dark grey area is the cities of Bradenton and Palmetto.
Some private roads may appear red, meaning that they have not been picked up yet. Last week, county commissioners voted last week to allow crews to clear private roads as they move through through the zones.
Residents are asked to separate their debris by yard waste, appliances and construction and debris. From Oct. 14-22, tipping fees will be waived for those who want to bring their Irma yard waste to the Lena Road Landfill.
