Have an idea for what you want to see in Holmes Beach? Here’s your chance to voice it

Commissioners are looking for voices and ideas to help shape the community of Holmes Beach over the next 25 years.

The Holmes Beach Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Nov. 2 to gather information from residents and business owners for updating the Holmes Beach Vision Statement, a news release stated.

It will lead up to an update in the City Comprehensive Plan, the first step of which is to update the City Vision Statement.

Community members — including residents, visitors along with business owners and their employees — are encouraged to attend. It will be a chance for the public to provide input on visionary priorities over the next 25 years.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 6608 Marina Drive in Holmes Beach.
