Brief Ninth Avenue West closure expected Monday
Bradenton commuters who travel Ninth Avenue West may need to adjust their routes Monday.
The city announced that it will close a roughly 400-foot span of Ninth Avenue West, between the 1830 block to slightly east of Ware’s Creek, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. to complete drainage work.
The affected area is directly north of Ballard Elementary School. The city asks anyone who normally drives through this area to account for the closure in advance.
