MTI’s Post-Secondary College Night has 100-plus schools
Representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities and technical schools are expected to attend an upcoming event designed to inform local families about the inner workings of post-secondary school.
The School District of Manatee County’s Post-Secondary College Night is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Manatee Technical College, 6305 St. Road 70 E., Bradenton, according to a school district news release.
During the event, students and families can learn about grants, loans and scholarships and how the application process works, the release states.
Some of the schools which have committed to send representatives include the University of Florida, Florida State University, the University of South Florida-Manatee Sarasota, the University of South Florida-Tampa, the University of Tampa, the University of Central Florida, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Stetson University and many more.
