Child, 1, drowns in family bathtub
A 1-year-old child drowned in a bathtub in a family’s Clearwater home Thursday night, and officials are investigating the boy’s death, according to reports.
The child, Liam Morris, had been placed in the bathtub at his home on 69th Street North Thursday night and was found underwater minutes later, according to Bay News 9.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office told Bay News 9 the boy’s father pulled him from the bathtub and called for help while the mother performed CPR.
The boy was taken to Largo Medical Center where he died, according to Bay News 9. Pinellas County investigators are looking into the death.
No other information was immediately released on the incident.
