Major road to be closed for one month to install new pipes
A road in Bayshore Gardens will be open to local traffic only for one month as crews work to fix a force main and install new utility lines.
Manatee County Public Works announced that 60th Avenue West from 26th Street West and U.S. 41 will be closed to most traffic from Sept. 5 to Oct. 9.
A detour route will be available just south of the Bayshore Shopping Center along Bayshore Gardens Parkway.
