Body prompts death investigation near USF

Tampa police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found Monday morning in the University of South Florida area.

According to police, a man's body was found near the Dunns River Island Cafe restaurant at 11154 North 30th Street just before 9 a.m.

Authorities have not released any further information.
