Leaning power pole forces temporary closure of El Conquistador Parkway
Night work will force the closure of a portion of El Conquistador Parkway on Thursday, according to the Manatee County infrastructure inspection division.
Due to a leaning power pole needing repairs, the roadway will be shut down from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. between 43rd Street West and 45th Street West, which is near the United Tennis Academy. El Conquistador Parkway will only be open to local traffic and emergency vehicles.
