Eight men arrested for solicitation of prostitution in Manatee sheriff’s undercover operation

Eight men were arrested Friday for solicitation of prostitution during an undercover operation by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

An undercover detective posed as a street prostitute in the 3800 block of 14th Street West, according to a MCSO release, which stated that eight men were arrested and transported to jail without incident.

Those arrested, according to the release, included Robert W. McCall, 63; Fabian Marin-Santos, 35; Felix Montenegro, 55; Eddie Horne, 47; Alejandro Gonzalez, 51; Carlos R. Melendez, 44; John J. Clarke, 66; and Pedro Martinez, 29.
