Two Parrish residents suffer serious injuries in Saturday night wreck on U.S. 301
Both drivers suffered serious injuries in a crash on U.S. 301 in northern Manatee County on Saturday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A 30-year-old Parrish woman was driving a 2016 Dodge Journey northbound on U.S. 301 just north of the intersection with Dickey Road, according to FHP, when the vehicle drifted into the southbound lane.
The front left of the Dodge Journey then struck the front left of a southbound 2008 GMC Sierra driven by a 23-year-old Parrish man, according to the FHP release.

There were no other passengers in either vehicle, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation.
