Groups organizing rally in Sarasota to oppose health care bill

Two groups, Action Together Suncoast and Indivisible Bradenton Pro-gressive, are organizing a rally Sunday in Sarasota to oppose the health care bill proposed to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The gathering is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday at the Unconditional Surrender statue along Bayfront Drive in Sarasota.

“As Florida voters, the focus of this coming together in numbers in Sarasota will be to encourage other Florida voters who oppose the health care bill to contact Senator (Marco) Rubio and let him know of their opposition,” Dianne Perry of Action Together Suncoast, an organizer of this call to action, said in a press release.
