Arrest made in connection to recent vehicle burglaries

MANATEE

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with the rash of recent vehicle burglaries and auto thefts.

Tyshanna S. Douglas, 19, was arrested and charged with grand theft auto, according to a MCSO press release.

The sheriff’s office continues to investigate leads as they search for additional suspects who entered several vehicles and a home and stole two vehicles between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Vehicles were burglarized in the 4800 block of Glenbrooke Drive, 8100 block of Glenbrooke Court, 8100 block of Glenbrooke Place, 4200 block of Charles Drive, 7800 block of Ontario Circle, 7700 block of Geneva Lane and 4200 block of Placid Drive.
