Police search for man who robbed convenience store at gunpoint
Police are searching for the suspect who held a Kwik Stop convenience store clerk at gun point before making off with cash.
At 10:28 p.m. Friday, Bradenton police officers responded to the Kwik Stop convenience store at 2505 26th Ave. W., Bradenton, to a report of an armed robbery, according to a news release. Officers learned that an armed man walked the store, held the clerk at gunpoint and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The armed robber left the store on foot, police said, and was last seen headed south through an adjacent apartment complex.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark green shirt, dark shorts and black shoes with a white sole. Police were able to obtain images of the suspect from the store’s video surveillance system.
