Powerball jackpot gets even bigger
Allow your Powerball dreams to get bigger.
The jackpot in Saturday’s drawing in the multi-state lottery is estimated to rise to $435 million, after no one hit the jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing.
Wednesday night’s numbers were 5, 21, 57, 66, 69 and the Powerball was 13. It was the 19th straight drawing without a winner.
However, two Florida tickets did match four numbers and Powerball, earning $50,000 each, according to Bay News 9. Overall, there were almost 175,000 winning tickets sold in Florida for Wednesday’s drawing.
If you’re the only winner Saturday, and you take the lump sum payout, it could be worth about $273.1 million. The amount of ticket sales in advance of Saturday’s drawing will determine the exact size of the jackpot.
Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
