Aging pipes on Anna Maria Island will be the subject of an upcoming public meeting, Manatee County government announced Saturday.

This fall, the “major” Anna Maria Island Force Main Replacement Project will replace old underground sewer and water lines along a stretch of Gulf Drive from Cortez Road West to north of Manatee Avenue West.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at CrossPointe Fellowship Church, located at 8605 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach.

Members of the county’s public works and utilities departments will present information and answer questions about the project.
