Authorities investigating small fire outside of New Tampa mosque

Authorities are investigating a small fire that happened early Friday outside a New Tampa mosque.

Officials said there was no damage and no injuries from the small fire outside the Islamic Society of New Tampa mosque at 15830 Morris Bridge Road in Thonotosassa.

The fire was reported just after 5 a.m. after an alarm went off at the building.

The Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
