Crash blocks part of U.S. 41 near airport

At least one person was injured in a traffic crash that blocked part of U.S. 41 near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was report at 10:55 a.m., happened at the intersection with Braden Avenue, according to the FHP website.

Details were sketchy, but the website reported that the soutside southbound lane of U.S. 41 was blocked.
