Bradenton man in critical condition after motorcycle accident

A Bradenton man is in critical condition after his motorcycle crashed into a guardrail on Whitfield Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.

Bryan Komula, 40, was approaching a lefthand curve on Whitfield Avenue, west of Lockwood Ridge Road, when he lost control of his motorcycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It is not known what caused Komula to lose control of the vehicle.

Komula was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
