Sarasota motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in crash

A 37-year-old Sarasota man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash early Monday evening at the intersection of Cattlemen Road and Cattlemen Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The driver of a 2014 Chrysler attempted a left turn in front of a 2008 CanAm motorcycle at 5:45 p.m., the FHP reported.

The motorcyclist was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Chrysler was uninjured.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
