Man reported missing from hospital

Authorities are looking for a patient of Centerstone Hospital and Addiction Center who left the facility Tuesday and has made threats to harm himself, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Van Allen Jr., 37, left the facility, 2020 26th Ave. E., at about 7:15 p.m., the release said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 941-747-3011.
