Pasco officials at scene of motel standoff

Authorities in Pasco County are working to get a wanted person outside of a motel room.

The person was holed up Tuesday morning inside a room at the Rodeway Inn on U.S. 19 North in New Port Richey.

The motel was evacuated during the investigation.

Authorities are asking residents to avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
