Suspect sought in shooting at First Haitian Bar in Bradenton

One person was hospitalized after a shooting Sunday morning at the First Haitian Bar at 5657 15th Street East in Bradenton.

Christopher Smith, 24, was being treated for a gunshot wound to the hand, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, wearing a white shirt and dark blue faded jeans.

The investigation is ongoing.
