Manatee schools make repeat appearances on new COVID-19 list. Here’s the full report

Four campuses made repeat appearances on the school district’s COVID-19 dashboard after Tuesday’s update.

In total, 30 people were forced to quarantine after being exposed to the new cases, according to the School District of Manatee County, which now uploads a daily update to www.manateeschools.net.

An exposure results from someone being within six feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes, and each exposure leads to a 14-day quarantine.

Manatee High School, 902 33rd St. Court W. in Bradenton, made its fourth appearance on the list. Tuesday’s update said there were no exposures to one employee who tested positive. In total, Manatee High has recorded five COVID-19 cases and 75 quarantines since late August.
