Tell us what is happening in Manatee County nursing homes during COVID-19 pandemic

Two Manatee County nursing homes operated by the same company, Braden River Rehabiltation Center in Bradenton and Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center in Palmetto, have been connected with at least 23 deaths from COVID-19, according to the state of Florida.

We want to know more about what happened in those nursing homes as patients and staff members fell ill and some died, from those who know best: patients and/or their families and nurses and other staff members.

What happened? How did administrators, staff and state health officials respond? What did they do to protect other residents? Have conditions improved or worsened?
