Get free blacklight mini golf at DeSoto Square mall's Saturn 5 Family Entertainment Center in Bradenton

Socks and mini golf don't seem to go together, but this month at Saturn 5 Family Entertainment Center in DeSoto Square mall, a new pair of socks will score you a free 18 holes of blacklight mini-golf or unlimited inflatable-obstacle course play.

The giveaways are a part of Saturn 5's "Socktober" drive which will benefit Comfort Socks, a nonprofit based in North Carolina that provides new socks to homeless people to help them stay warm during the winter months.

Socks donated at Saturn 5 will also go to local St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Turning Points chapters, said Saturn 5 employee Keeley Ecker. Saturn 5 hopes to bring in 1,000 pairs of socks by the end of October.
