Talbots, Vera Bradley, Aveda, Edward Beiner and Seasons 52 host back-to-school event for teachers

Four retailers and one restaurant at The Mall at University Town Center will host a back-to-school event for teachers from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at The Mall at University Town Center.

Talbots, Vera Bradley, Aveda, Edward Beiner and Seasons 52 independently collaborated to put the event together. The event is exclusively for teachers with proper teacher identification. Those who wish to attend must RSVP by calling 941-203-4370 or emailing sarasota@seasons52.com.

Informal modeling will showcase Tablots' September catalogue collection and upcoming school year fashions. Teachers will receive 25 percent off of all Talbots merchandise through the weekend of the event. Aveda will offer new hairstyling options for teachers as well as a free neck and shoulder massage. Vera Bradley will have coupons for $20 off of $75 purchases. Models will show Edward Beiner's eyeglasses and teachers can receive 40 percent off of prescription lenses with the purchase of a frame. Seasons 52 will provide complimentary beer, wine, a specialty apple cocktail and hors d'oeuvres.

Teachers in attendance can also register to win a free cocktail party at Seasons 52, a $100 gift card from Talbots, and tickets to Busch Gardens, among other prizes.
